For the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation
To be eligible to receive the Sacraments of First Penance and Reconciliation (Confession), First Eucharist (Holy Communion), and Confirmation, children must be enrolled in the yearly Faith Formation program (CCD) at Sacred Heart Church.

FIRST PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION
To receive the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation for the first time, a child must be Baptized, an enrolled member of the Faith Formation Program at Sacred Heart Church and at least 7 years old. In addition, he/she must meet the requirements as specified by the Pastor and Director of Religious Education.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
To receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time, a child must be Baptized, an enrolled member of the Faith Formation Program at Sacred Heart Church, at least 8 years old and have received First Penance and Reconciliation. In addition, he/she must meet the requirements as specified by the Pastor and Director of Religious Education.
CONFIRMATION
To receive the Sacrament of Confirmation a child must be Baptized, an enrolled member of the Faith Formation Program at Sacred Heart Church, at least 13 years old, in the 7th grade and have received the Sacraments of First Penance and First Eucharist. In addition, they must meet the requirements as specified by the Pastor and Director of Religious Education.
